In the Winners' Circle Inc., under the direction of Madam Justice Barbara Cooke-Alleyne, QC, in collaboration with the Maria Holder Memorial Trust will host its annual four-part post 11+ webinar series for parents as well as a virtual segment for students who recently completed the Barbados Secondary School Entrance Examination.
The sessions which will run from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. each week as follows:
Saturday, August 13, 2022 – "The Transition to Secondary School" by Mrs. Margaret Grant
Saturday, August 20, 2022 – "Strengthening the Parent-Child Relationship" by Mrs. Donna Tull-Cox
Saturday, August 27, 2022 – “You, Your Child and Social Media” by Madam Justice Barbara Cooke-Alleyne, QC and Mr. Steven Williams
Saturday, September 3, 2022 – “Substance Abuse” by Mrs. Makeada Bourne of the National Council on Substance Abuse
The sessions geared towards students will be on Friday, September 9 & Saturday, September 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day. More details on this will be provided in a subsequent email.
