The Government of the Republic of Cuba is providing full scholarships to Barbadian students in the 2024 academic year to pursue either undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in Cuba in the following disciplines:
• Medicine
• Health Technology
• Nursing
ELIGIBILTY
Applicants must be citizens of Barbados between the ages of sixteen (16) and (25) twenty-five.
Academic Requirements
- Undergraduate Programmes
- Certified copy of academic report the final year of Secondary School/College Transcript
- An official copy of Secondary school/college degree certificate
- Certified copies of CXC/CAPE certificates.
Postgraduate Programmes
A certified copy of Bachelor Degree Certificate and Certificate of Grades.
Other Requirements
- General Health Certificate, including HIV status and an official medical certificate confirming that the applicant is not pregnant (for females).
- Police Certificate of Character
- Birth Certificate
- Ten (10) passport size pictures
- Travel Information
Applicants should be prepared to travel during the month of August 2024.
