A Scholarship Offered by Rotary Club of Barbados West
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for a scholarship offered by the Rotary Club of Barbados West in conjunction with Diamond International and Sandy Lane Golf Classic for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Applicants must be citizens of Barbados between the ages of sixteen (16) and twenty (20), who have matriculated at a university for the 2021/2022 academic year.
The scholarship is for study at a Caribbean university and is in the form of an educational grant worth five thousand Barbados dollars (BDS$5,000.00) per year for the duration of the course of study.
Persons applying for the award:
(a) must show evidence of good academic performance; and
(b) must show evidence of financial need
Special consideration will be given to areas of study which are considered of high priority to the development of Barbados.
Application forms may be obtained from the Tertiary Section of the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, the Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St Michael where completed forms must be submitted no later than Friday, August 20, 2021.
