REGISTRATION OF PRIVATE CANDIDATES FOR

CARIBBEAN EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL (CXC)

MAY/JUNE 2021 EXAMINATIONS

 

Registration for the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) May/June 2021 Examinations commenced on Monday November 02, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and will close on Friday November 27, 2020.

Registration forms are available from the Examination and Assessment Section of the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, “Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael.

To facilitate the registration process, the following should be presented:-

(a)   the relevant fees;

(b)   Barbados Identification Card, Driver’s License, Passport or a certified passport size photograph as evidence of identification;

(c)  A blue/black ink pen

The examination fees payable in cash on registration are as follows:-

CSEC

Entry Fee                                 $36.00 per candidate

Subject Fee                              $36.50 per subject

Local Entrance Fee                    $30.00 per candidate

CAPE

Entry Fee                                 $36.00 per candidate

Subject Fee                              $52.00 per subject

Local Entrance Fee                    $30.00 per candidate

The local entrance fee of $30.00 covers all examinations which the candidate may be writing in May/June 2021.

All fees should be paid in cash to the Finance Section of this Ministry between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

Candidates who are eligible to carry forward SBA marks must be registered as “Resit”.

CLASHES OF SUBJECT PAPERS WILL NOT BE RECONCILED OR ADJUSTED BY THIS MINISTRY. CANDIDATES ARE THEREFORE ADVISED TO CONSULT THE TIMETABLES FOR THE RESPECTIVE EXAMINATIONS BEFORE REGISTERING.
