GOVERNMENT NOTICE
Chinese Government Scholarship 2022
The Government of China is providing full scholarships to Barbados students to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in China for the academic year beginning September 2022.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants
(a) Must be citizens of Barbados and in good health.
(b) Pursuing undergraduate studies must be under 25 years of age and possess a minimum of 5 CXC certificates at grades 1 or 2 general proficiency level.
(c) Pursing the Master’s degree must be under 35 years of Age and hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least Lower 2nd class
(d Pursing a Doctoral degree must be under 40 years of age and hold a Master’s degree.
(e) Must be a high school graduate under the age of 45 when applying for general programmes.
(f) Must be a master’s degree holder or an associate Professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for senior Scholar programmes.
Successful applicants must be willing to study Chinese language for one to two years before pursuing their major studies in Chinese instructions.
Applicants are expected to meet their own travel to and from China.

Applicants are required to click Application online for international students and enter the following program category: “Type A” and Agency Number -0521.
Uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic, and valid.
Three (3) completed application forms and relevant documents of which one should be original, including the Foreign Physical Examination Form should be submitted to the Tertiary Section of the Ministry of Education Science, Technology, and Innovation no later than January 20, 2022.
