Dear Parents/Guardians,
Please see the forms below which can be used during the Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Examination Period for 2026.
FORM A- EARLY SITTER – request permission for persons under 11 years by August 31, 2023 to write the examination.
FORM B – DEFFERAL - for persons 11 years old to defer writing the examination and remain in primary school for one year.
FORM C – SPECIAL REQUEST- request that a student be exempted from writing the examination. Also used to request accommodation for students with special difficulties eg. vision impairment, dyslexia, diabetes, muscular dystrophy, etc.
STUDENTS BORN OUTSIDE OF BARBADOS FORM- to be completed for all persons not born in Barbados.
The deadline for the submission of all forms is Friday January, 30, 2026.
