GOVERNMENT NOTICE
Scholarships Offered by Cuba 2019
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for scholarships in Cuba tenable in the 2019/2020 academic year.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be Citizens of Barbados
Academic Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) subjects at CSEC Level, inclusive of at least three (3) of the four (4) following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Grades 1 or 2.
- English Language is compulsory for all areas of study.
Other Requirements
Students must be between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty-four (24) years.

Undergraduate
Medicine
Postgraduate:
- Internal Medicine
- Paediatrics
- Genecology and Obstetrics
- General Surgery
- Hygiene and Epidemiology
Documentation to be submitted:
- Birth Certificate (original).
- General Health Certificate, including HIV status and a pregnancy test (for females).
- Academic Qualifications.
- Police Certificate of Character.
- Ten (10) Passport size photographs
Travel Information
Applicants should be prepared to travel by the last week of August 2019.
