In support of the Barbados School Nutrition Policy, the Ministry of Educational Transformation will launch a Creative Healthy Snack Competition designed for Class Four students who recently completed the Secondary School Entrance Examination.
The competition challenges students to creatively select, prepare, and present a marketable snack, using local ingredients as the main component. Each snack must be low in fat, salt, and sugar using the PAHO/WHO Nutrient Profile given in the link below:

It must also be tasty, visually appealing and texturally pleasing all within the correct portion size.
