Objectives:
To sustain the teaching/learning environment and educational performance at the Primary level by repairing and upgrading the physical plant of the island's primary schools on an on-going basis.
Description:
Execution of minor works to repair, replace, refurbish and renovate windows, doors, ceilings, roofs, electrics, plumbing and other areas that may require attention as needed. EPIU artisans or selected private small contractors execute these tasks. Additionally more substantial repair or improvement projects ($20,000 - $100,000) are scheduled for 15 to 20 schools each year on a rotating basis and carried out during the annual summer break. The EPIU prepares scopes of works and invites quotations for these contracts.
This year the following schools were rehabilitated during the summer:
| Eden Lodge Primary | St. Silas | Christ Church Girls |
| St. George Primary | Wilkie Cumberbatch | Government Hill |
| St. Bartholomew | St. Judes | Wesley Hall Infants |
